LITERACY INSTRUCTION
LETRS
Literacy principals founded in the Science of Reading, students will undergo direct instruction in basic reading skills (i.e., phonological awareness, phonics fluency), begin to
develop and apply those foundational skills to access mature reading skills (i.e., vocabulary, comprehension, and written expression.
5 RAP
On going assessment tool in which a student will receive direct, explicit, and master-based instruction. This program follows a scope and sequence of targeting foundational reading skills and strengthening those skills to reach independence in reading. Skills targeted include phonological awareness, word attack/phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
HillWrite
Systematic and explicit instruction that follows a scope and sequence of foundational writing skills. As a student responds to the intervention, their foundational, isolated writing
skills will begin to transition to written expression and offer independence and regulation as they embark on the world of written expression.
Seeing Stars
Reading program dedicated to building symbol imagery (visualize sounds/letters in words) which will directly enhance a student’s orthographic mapping. This inherently improves a student’s ability to engage in phonological processing/awareness, phonics, spelling, and reading fluency.

A story-based approach to teaching students’ phonics.
MATH INSTRUCTION
IReady Mathematics
iReady is an online approach that targets specific mathematical skills that meets a
learner at their current level of performance, and follows and scope and sequence that mirrors the needs of the learner. IReady allows for learners to engage in highly motivational and engaging instruction, guided practice, independent practice, assessment, and self-monitoring practices. Tailored to the individual, iReady does follow state standards in which schools also abide by. While learners are working towards sharping their mathematical calculation and problem-solving skills, these skills will be generalized into the classroom.
Mathseeds
Mathseeds is an online platform that centers around 1:1 math lessons that target
foundational mathematical calculation and problem-solving skills. This intervention specifically supports young learners and allows for elementary aged learners to navigate the mathematical world around them. Mathseeds is rooted in explicit instruction, while offering opportunities of practice with variety that will begin to generalize into the classroom.
