Hear What Patients and Family Members Say
To think about who I was when I started this process and who I am now is mind blowing. My therapist is amazing and has really partnered with me to work through my past. I am honestly becoming a person I never thought I could be.
EMDR is the most helpful thing I have every gone through. You get so lost in surviving with PTSD that you don’t even realize you stopped dreaming or seeing color in the world. I am so grateful to Tara, she is just incredible and so skilled at using EMDR. I feel like I have my life back again. Thank you
Nichole is the best med provider I have ever worked with. There have been a lot. She listens to me and actually hears what I am saying about my experiences. She gets the meds right the first time and I don’t feel like every time I talk to her I am going to have to go through the rollercoaster of changing meds and then they don’t work.
My therapist is the safest person that I know. He is just so gentle and comforting. I can lay all the stuff in my head out that feels so crazy and he just accepts it…no judgement, no criticism. I am just so grateful to him and to ACAPS for being a place that doesn’t make me feel crazy.
